Wilson Hall boasts one of the better-kept secrets on campus. Presently, the Writing Center Lab is the only one on campus that accommodates the unskilled, the low-skilled, and/or the simply nervous user. All the labs on campus have lab assistants, but ours are particularly proficient with the reluctant user whose skills are not quite as dependable as they could be. A significant student minority on MSU’s campus still needs good instruction on word processors, and those students too can become computer-adept.
If students do not have dependable access to a word processor, or if they are still paying someone to do their typing for them, independence is just around the corner. In an hour, students can be taught everything they need to know to write papers for any classes with a minimum of stress.
The computer lab is open to all MSU students, not just those who need instruction on computers. A lab assistant is available to help them with any questions uers might have. The lab has fifteen computers and Internet access. Please visit us, we’re here to help students succeed with their writing.
The computer lab is closed during summers.
