Undergraduate Services
Tutoring is available as a free service to MSU students.
To make an appointment, please call 994-5315 and leave your name and phone number. You will receive a call confirming your appointment. Time slots will fill up quickly, especially near the end of the semester, so schedule your appointment early.
The Writing Center has experienced tutors to help you brainstorm, organize, and develop your ideas. Tutors also assist with understanding assignments, discovering research strategies, and polishing academic style.
Scheduling takes place in room 1-108 in Wilson Hall, and your appointment will take place in room 1-106. Please bring a copy of the assignment and a draft, if you have one, and meet with a tutor for an appointment.

Email grieb@english.montana.edu, call 994-5315, or drop by Wilson 1-108 to schedule an appointment. Appointments are available between the hours of 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday.
The Writing Center in Renne Library Room 219:
Appointments are available between 2:30pm-5:30pm M/W/F and 1pm-4pm T/R. Call 994-4346 or drop by room 219 in Renne Library to schedule an appointment (walk-ins also welcome).
Residential Life Writing Assistance (walk-ins only):
Writing assistance is available Sunday through Thursday between 7pm and 10pm. The service will be located in North Hedges Sunday through Thursday, and it will be located in Hapner on Monday and Wednesday (with the addition of Thursday in October). Tutoring will begin Sept. 20th.
